Martin is a sitcom created by comedian/actor Martin Lawrence. It ran on FOX from 1992 to 1997, filming a total of 132 episodes. For the majority of the show's run, Martin was featured at the 8:00 pm EST time slot, with Living Single airing at 8:30. Currently, Martin is in syndication, and will be released to DVD in January 2007.

History of "Martin"
Tisha Campbell vs Martin Lawrence
According to Tisha she claimed that while filming some scenes in the bed, Martin acted inappropriately. Therefore she sued Martin Lawrence for sexual harassment. Tisha left the show while in it's last season and only appeared on the series finale only if she and Martin were not in the same room. They had to film the scenes on seperate sets although it was a split screen scene because she would not film any scenes or be near Martin at all. Because of this the ratings and popularity dropped and it led to the show being cancelled. As of 2006 Martin and Tisha are still not talking to each other but Tisha did mention that she was grateful that Martin gave her a chance to be on the show.
